Every value pick the odds board show is now graded and locked.
The rules are fixed. Every pick is one unit.
Picks are settled on the full game with overtime included.
There is also a 95% band showing what we expect the model to produce in terms of value to a 95% confidence interval.
Premium allows to get each pick every night shown.
Results appear on the morning after each game.

Our model now prices four NHL markets: goalie saves, player shots on goal, team shots and total shots.
Premium shows our fair odds next to every bookmaker and shades prices that pay more than fair. The darker the green, the bigger the expected return.
We only show a price when we trust it.
A projected lineup is marked ○ until it is confirmed, and value on those prices is hatched as tentative. Players with little data or a changed role get a flag beside their name;
tap it to see why. When our model is far from the market, which early in the season usually means it needs more games, we don't price the player at all. You'll see a red flag and 'Needs data' instead. The home page has a new 'Best prices tonight' board. Everyone sees the best bookmaker price on shots on goal and saves compared with the rest of the market. Premium also sees our model's value picks once lineups are confirmed. How it has held up so far: our team- and total-shots model was tested once on the 2024-25 season, on about 900 games it had never seen, against BetMGM's prices. Its under bets returned +16.6% on 364 team-shots bets and +14.7% on 324 total-shots bets. That's one season at one bookmaker, so we're checking it again on this season's games. Odds from draftkings are now available across the markets

Player profiles, team pages and the teams overview now load faster, especially when revisiting pages or moving between teams. Season splits, shot maps and account access stay the same.

Navigation is grouped into Model, Research and About beside the NHL section bar, and the header no longer changes shape as you move between the hockey pages and the reference pages.

Data information has gained a plain-language section on reading model prices: what a fair price is, what a highlighted cell means, and what the recorded price history does and does not tell you.

The upcoming schedule now defaults to a table: faceoff time, matchup, best moneyline each side, and direct links to the odds board and the lineup. Search by team name or abbreviation to cut it down.

Cards are still there behind the view switch, and phones open on them because the table needs more width than a phone has. Your choice is remembered in this browser.

Every match on the odds board now carries a chart of recorded moneyline prices over time, under the match-markets table. Pick a sportsbook logo to switch the series.

Older records that were stored without a timezone are labelled as source time and kept separate from records we can convert to your local time, so the two are never silently mixed.
